Jody Lavender Schedules 3 Races

Mooresville, NC (09/03/10) - After having some time off from driving, Jody Lavender will return to racing at the famous North-Wilkesboro Speedway on Saturday, September 4th. This will be the first race on the revived speedway that saw many of the old-timers compete. The race will be a 200 lap PASS series race for the Super Late Models. Jody will compete in the car he built in his ‘custom’ race chassis shop. Jody said, “We look forward to racing at the historic North-Wilkesboro Speedway and competing in the PASS series again. We have been competitive in the PASS series but have had problems finishing races. We also plan to compete in the PASS race at Hickory Speedway on September 25th. We have a good shot at winning both races in the #115 car.”

In addition, Jody will also compete in the NASCAR K & N East Series race on Friday, September 17th at the New Hampshire Speedway. He will drive the Jimmy Burgess owned #88. Jody said, “I always enjoy driving for Jimmy Burgess. He is one of the best and hardest working people in racing. I would like nothing better than to drive his car to the front.”

Jody said, “We plan to run some more races but my chassis shop, my crew chiefing and consulting for other drivers has kept me busy and we are running a limited schedule.”
