Lavender Struggles in Last Race

Mooresville, NC (10/07/09) - The last race of the season in the NASCAR Camping World East Series was at the Dover International Speedway.  Dover is known as one of the toughest tracks on the circuit and it was no exception for Jody Lavender.

He started 24th and finished 17th for one of his worst finishes of the season. Jody said, “We couldn’t get the car right.  We made numerous changes but our speeds stayed the same.  It definitely wasn’t a good day in Dover for us.  We slipped to 4th in the points (his worse position of the year).  But overall, we had a good year when we take everything into consideration.  I’d like to thank car owner Jimmy Burgess and the entire volunteer crew for the great job they did this year.  The only full-time employee we had was crew chief, Todd Graffam, and he did a great job also.”
