Lavender Heads to South Boston with Points Lead

Mooresville, NC (05/26/09) - Jody Lavender is leading the points in the NASCAR Camping World East Series and heads to South Boston, VA this weekend. He has a 26 point lead over Eddie MacDonald and a 38 point lead over last year’s champion, Matt Kobyluck.

Jody said, “South Boston has always been one of my better tracks and we need another good run. This schedule doesn’t get any easier as we go next to the road course at Watkins Glen and then to New Hampshire Speedway. Our team is much stronger than last year. Jimmy Burgess and the JBR team are really working hard to keep us on top of this points battle.”
