Jody Lavender Finishes 2nd at GPS

It was an eventful up and down night for Jody and after the race he said, “We had a good car tonight and are happy with a second place finish. I used up the car (tires and brakes) coming from the rear and didn’t have enough left to pass Ickler at the end. (Brian Ickler was the race winner). “After the first lap crash, I thought we were through for the night but we made a pit stop and my crew did a great job of getting me back on the track without losing a lap. A big part of this finish goes to car owner Jimmy Burgess and the JBR pit crew.”

Jody is scheduled to run the next race at Tri-County Speedway in Hudson, NC on April 25th and the May 30th race in South Boston, VA.

The Greenville Pickens race will be televised on the Speed Channel on Thursday, April 16th at 3:00 pm.
