Lavender 8th in Season Finale

Mooresville, NC (12/12/08) - Jody Lavender finished the last race of the 2008 NASCAR Camping World Series race at Stafford Speedway in 8th place, after starting 14th. He also finished 11th in the points standings and was only 7 points out of 10th place.

Jody said, “I would like to thank car owner, Jimmy Burgess, and the entire team for all their hard work this year. Without them, this would not have been possible. We would liked to have finished in the top-10 of the points but the competition this year was very competitive. I think we were competitive when we take everything into consideration.”

When asked about the 2009 season, Jody said, “We have no plans at this time.”
