Lavender Heads to South Boston
 

Mooresville, NC (05/23/08) - Jody Lavender looks forward to the NASCAR Camping World East Series race at South Boston, VA on Saturday, May 31st. He is now 14th in the series points after the Iowa race.  Jody said, “The Iowa race was probably the worse race I have had since I have been racing.  We simply could not get the car to handle.  We made numerous changes and nothing helped.”  But he said, “Iowa is now history and we can’t do anything about what happened.  All of our efforts are now on having a good run at South Boston.  We have a good team that won’t quit, a good car, and South Boston has always been one of my favorite tracks.  We also have another car ready for the road course race at Watkins Glen on June 8th and our 3rd car, a new car, will be ready for New Hampshire on June 27th.  The competition in this series is very strong but we feel good about our team.”
