Lavender Looks for "Win-Win" in 2008
 

Durham, NC (12/27/07) - Veteran driver, Jody Lavender, is looking for a “win-win” situation in 2008. Lavender had a successful season in the Hooters Pro-Cup series in 2007 driving the second car for Jay Fogleman and JFCO Motorsports.  But, due to a reduction in sponsorship, JFCO will not have a car available for him in 2008.

Jody said, “We had a good year in 2007 in a very competitive series.  We finished 4th in the Northern Division points and 13th in the National Championship.  We should have had a top-5 but problems in 3 of the 5 championship races hurt us.”

Jody also said, “I’d like to thank Jay Fogleman and JFCO Motorsports for providing me with good race cars because without them, this would not have been possible.  I’d also like to thank Greased Lightning for sponsoring our car and sponsoring the Clean Team program.  I couldn’t have asked for a better team or sponsor but I understand their position and I wish them the best in the future.”

Jody continued, “We are looking at all options in 2008. We want to make a decision as soon as possible but we want it to be a winning situation for the sponsor, the race team, and myself.
