Lavender Heads to Mansfield
 

Durham, NC (August 30, 2007) - Jody Lavender will head to Mansfield, Ohio for the first of five races of the Hooters Pro-Cup Championship Series on Saturday night.

In the championship series, the top 30 Northern drivers and the top 30 Southern drivers will compete for the 36-car field during 5 championship races beginning in Mansfield and going on to Iowa Speedway, Myrtle Beach Speedway, South Georgia Motorsports Park, and USA International Speedway in Lakeland, Florida.

Jody finished 4th in the final points standings of the Northern Division after having a successful season with his new sponsor, Greased Lightning, JFCO Motorsports, and Jay Fogleman.
