Jody Lavender Looking for Good Points Finish
 

Durham, NC (August 10, 2007) - The last race of the regular season for the Hooters ProCup Northern Division will be at South Boston, Virginia this weekend. The final points standings will determine who can participate in the 5-race championship races between the Northern and Southern divisions.

Currently, Jody is 4th in the Northern Division points and wants to move up. Jody said, “We’ve had a good year and 4th is not bad when you consider the competition in this series but moving up would be much better. We have made some changes to the car and think it will be better. If we don’t have any bad luck, we’ll be up front at the end.”

Jody is a member of the “Clean Team Program” sponsored by Greased Lightning and The Works. Eight drivers compete for contingency awards at each series race. The best qualifying driver and the highest finishing driver each receive $250 each. A $25,000 end of the season bonus will be paid to team members based on points earned on the track and off the track for charities and marketing work done on behalf of Greased Lightning and The Works.
