Lavender at Myrtle Beach for Aaron's 250

Mooresville, NC (June 23, 2006) - After testing yesterday (Thursday), Jody Lavender was pleased with the way his car was running. Lavender said, “We weren’t very good when we first went out but after numerous changes, we were pretty good when practice ended. The main thing is we want to be good at race time for the Aaron’s 250. This is a tough abrasive track and will change. Tire management is very important here and new tires don’t help for very long.” Lavender continued, “This is our home track for the Hooters Pro-Cup series and we always look forward to coming here and seeing our local fans who have followed and supported us during my racing career.”

Jody said, “We also want to thank Heritage Community Bank, H & R Block, Jo-Jo Enterprises, and Hartsville Mini-Storage for the support they have given us.”

Race time for the Aaron’s 250 is Saturday at 7:30 pm.
