Lavender Heads to Connecticut

Mooresville, NC (June 15, 2006) - Jody Lavender and the Aaron’s sponsored “Dream Machine” head to Stafford Springs, CT to compete in the NASCAR Busch East Series this weekend.

Lavender competed in the series at Greenville-Pickens for the first time last weekend and had a good chance of winning until he got spun out in the last 10 laps of the race.

“It’s a long trip to Stafford but thanks to Aaron’s and to the Jimmy Burgess crew and friends, we were able to put it together,” said Lavender. He continued, “We had another weekend off with the Hooters Pro-Cup Southern Division, but we will still run the full season with them and we definitely will be at the next race at Myrtle Beach on June 24th.” Jody also said, “We plan to run more races in the Busch East Series as our schedule permits.”
