Lavender Moves Up Again

Mooresville, NC (November 8, 2005) - Jody Lavender continued his strong runs with a 4th place finish at the Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, Virginia. Lavender also moved up from 8th to 7th place in the national points chase with only one race remaining at Lakeland, Florida on November 26.

The points battle is very close with Benny Gordon leading with 704 points, Shane Huffman in second with 671 points, Jeff Agnew in 3rd with 670 points, Gary St. Amant in 4th with 637 points, Matt Carter in 5th with 633 points, Woody Howard in 6th with 616 points, Lavender in 7th with 613 points, Joe Gaita in 8th with 596 points, Johnny Rumley in 9th with 578 points, and Clay Rogers in 10th with 567 points.

The National Championship, which pays over $200,000, will be decided at Lakeland.

Lavender also plans to run the Late Model stock races at South Boston Speedway on November 12th and at Myrtle Beach Speedway on November 20th.
