Lavender Finishes 4th and 5th
 

Grabs 5th Top Five Finish at USA International Speedway

Mooresville, NC (September 6, 2005) - Jody Lavender has found a way to run with the "Big-Boys" in the Hooters Pro Cup Series. In the last race of the season, Lavender finished 4th and he finished 5th in the Southern Division for the regular season points battle. He is in good company with former champions Shane Huffman, Clay Rogers, and Bobby Gill ahead of him, along with Mark McFarland in a DEI sponsored car.

The next step is the National Championship which features the top 30 drivers from the Southern division with the top 30 drivers from the Northern Division in a five-race schedule. The championship races start at Jennerstown, PA on September 24th, moves to Mansfield, OH on October 8th, and on to Myrtle Beach Speedway on October 22nd. The final two races are at Radford, VA on November 5th and Lakeland, FL on November 26th.
